This in an historical moment for Erasmus Students of yesterday, today and above al for Tomorrow.

The amendment on the electoral law that gives the chance for exchange students to vote from a foreign country was approved by Senate with a landslide majority.

Senators Cociancich, Marucci and Del Barba presented the amendment, and after several changes, the law has been approved by the majority of the legislative assembly. If the law is approved in Montecitorio, 25.000 students will, from now on, express their vote by absentee ballot in a Foreign District.

Right to vote for Italians abroad, triggers the #GenerazioneSenzaVoto Day


Almost two years have passed since the Political Elections of 2013 and still, nothing has changes. The Italians exchange students studying or working abroad still don’t have the right to vote from the Country they are temporarily residing in, forcing them to return to Italy with the consequential waste of time and money.

Diritto di voto degli italiani all’estero, sabato 17 gennaio scatta il #GenerazioneSenzaVoto Day


Roma 15 gennaio - Sono passati quasi due anni dalle Elezioni Politiche del 2013 e ancora nulla è cambiato. Gli studenti italiani in scambio all’estero per programmi di studio e di lavoro non hanno ancora il diritto di votare dal Paese dove si trovano, essendo invece costretti a ritornare in Italia con conseguente dispendio di tempo e denaro.

Ma forse gli sforzi di Erasmus Student Network Italia, che dal mese di Settembre sta raccogliendo le 50.000 firme necessarie a presentare la proposta di iniziativa di legge popolare in Parlamento...

#GenerazioneSenzaVotoDay: domani la conferenza stampa a Montecitorio


La Generazione Erasmus ci crede. L’obiettivo, il potere ottenere una legge che consenta a tutti gli studenti, lavoratori e stagisti temporaneamente all’estero di avere il diritto di votare tramite Ambasciate e Consolati, pare più che mai raggiungibile.

Per questo motivo sabato 17 Gennaio sarà il #GenerazioneSenzaVoto Day. In 30 città italiane lungo tutta la Penisola, i volontari di Erasmus Student Network raccoglieranno le firme dei cittadini italiani che sosterranno la causa recandosi ai banchetti.
